Veritus Miller's Truth Troupe

Los Angeles pianist, composer, and arranger Veritus Miller brings a fresh, soulful energy to modern jazz while honoring the spirit of the tradition. An emerging voice shaped by the rich creative culture of Leimert Park, Miller blends expressive melodies, deep groove, and sophisticated improvisation into performances that feel both timeless and unmistakably contemporary.

Raised in a family rooted in artistic legacy—including world-renowned choreographer Lula Washington and acclaimed saxophonist Kamasi Washington—Veritus has developed a musical voice that bridges generations of Black music and culture. In 2023, he opened the Leimert Park Jazz Festival alongside artists including Keyon Harrold, Gerald Clayton, Carmen Lundy, and Poncho Sanchez, further establishing himself as one of Los Angeles' rising talents.

At The Den, Veritus Miller delivers an intimate and vibrant performance filled with warmth, creativity, and the unmistakable energy of a new generation of jazz.
